Up for auction is a great, 8 page manual which is titled Directions for setting up and operating New Deere Loader, 8 foot model made by Dain Mfg. Co., Ottumwa, Iowa. Series 1918. There is also a small John Deere trademark ...the deer figure with the words "John Deere, Moline, Illinois.. The trademark of quality made famous by good implements". We found this item in our barn and the cover is discolored and has a few pieces of the edge missing....nothing that affects the text or great detailed drawings. If you own one of these great old machines, or know a collector who has one, this is the perfect item. I am sure it could be copied very easily, and perhaps you could sell reproductions from this original item. I will mail this item out via first class mail. If you have any questions, please ask before you bid....sorry, no returns unless the item is not as I have described it.
