This is a cool piece I've never seen one before. Its a square John deere mechanical pencil and it was either made in the 1950s-1960s somewhere in that time frame. I believe the barrel is lucite and it has no cracks. It also has a screwtop erase or cap. I'm not sure how you put the lead in it. I don't know if you have to feed it in one piece at a time or what. I know because the rarity this is a piece for the serious collector. You just don't come across the square body type often. If you have any questions feel free to ask and as usual thank you for looking. I am not completely sure that it works or not, I believe it does though.
