This is an original vintage salmon-pink-colored fiber potato sack for 5 pounds of "Buck-Skins" russet potatoes grown by Okray Produce Co. of Plover, Wisconsin. A paper label with attractive graphics of a cowgirl swinging a lasso adorns both sides. As you'll see in my photos, the sack is flat (and will be shipped that way--exactly as you see it in my photos--to avoid further damaging the fragile fibers) and is pretty much "frozen" into the shape that you see. The paper label has wear and some permanent wrinkles and creases, and the fibers, which seem to be plant fibers, have stiffened with age, and some of the fibers have torn. In its current shape, the sack measures approximately 9 1/2" wide and 13 1/2" high.
